School of Worship
The School of Worship (SOW) is a 6-month intensive training designed to ignite your passion for Jesus, sharpen your gifts, and launch you as a worshiper and leader who brings transformation to the nations.

You were made to worship—wholeheartedly, creatively, and with everything in you. Worship isn’t just a song; it’s a response of love and obedience to the revelation of who God is.
Jesus is worthy of the worship of every nation, tribe, and tongue (Rev 7:9), yet billions have never heard His name. Worship isn’t just for the church—it’s a call to bring heaven’s sound to the places where worship doesn’t exist yet. Will you go?
Elements of School of Worship
The School of Worship consists of three primary elements: Train, Apply, and Go. These elements are intermixed throughout the 6-month school creating a space to be equipped through side-by-side teaching, hands-on experience, and taking worship to the nations.
Train
With teachers from all over, you will learn what worship looks like in the nations, and how to integrate culture into worship. By studying scripture, and singing the Word, you’ll gain a biblical foundation for worship that will equip you to teach and lead in the nations.

Apply
Through extended prayer and worship times in our campus prayer room, you will learn how to cultivate intimacy with God and host His presence. You will regularly serve and lead on YWAM Lancaster worship teams, including morning worship, community events, and local outreaches. You will write new songs and produce music as a response to the revelation of who God is.

Go
You will go and carry the Gospel to an unreached nation, bringing the light of Christ to those who have never heard. Through teaching, you will equip and empower people, helping them write songs in their own language. Where worship is absent, you will help establish a culture of praise, transforming communities through God’s presence.

The Phase Two is 8 weeks long, followed by a 2-week debrief phase leading up to graduation.
